You will need to take better pictures using a bright light shining right in if you want some comments from the experts here, of which I am not one. But, when I was troubleshooting large computers, your nose is a very useful tool. Open it up, blow air on it to move as much ambient smell out of it, and put your nose close to the boards. You are looking for that unique smell of burnt silicone. Try to isolate it down to a board and then remove the board for a closer look. You are looking for anything blackened or that looks like it got hot or has expanded.
