Sansui 7070 Receiver Phono Input Selector

Hello, Have a question for any Sansui 7070 owners out there. Picked one up a couple of weeks back and there is something odd with phono section. Only the phono 2 input works and the wires to the phono 1 back of panel connector are cut. The wring for the front Phono 1 and Phono 2 PB selector appears to be modified as there is a 100 ohm resistor wired in on the 2nd set of contact leads at the top but I see no wires connected. Suspect the PB switch failed and they wired in the Phono 2 leads directly to the phono stage. Any thoughts or perhaps a photo of a functional front PB selector would be helpfull . Thank You

Since you seem to be describing modifications made that don't match the factory condition, it might be very helpful to post pictures with annotations so people can see what you're describing. You can test the switch with an ohmmeter to determine if it's working properly.
 
It's been a while, but I wanted to close the loop on this, in case someone has, or will have a similar issue. Was able to locate, another Sansui 7070, with both Phono inputs functional. Traced the wire leads, from the input connectors, to the circuit board, to the push button selector and both were identical, including the 100 ohm resistor, that I mentioned, in the initial post. Resoldered the wires, to the Phono 1 input connector and both Phono 1 and Phono 2 inputs, are now functioning properly. Why someone cut the Phono 1 leads, I have no idea, but all is good now. If anyone needs more details, please let me know. Otherwise this is closed.
