That is what i am planning to do - get aluminum sheet from HD and cut it to size.
Amp plays fine (no hum when source is connected to the input) after i better cleaned input selector. I think i need to get RCA plugs for the other inputs. I am not sure how to fully test phono stage since I do not have any turntables and my signal generator output only produces signals just a bit bellow and above line out levels (0.3V and up). So I would just overload phono stage. I actually should test it for all my amps.
