Sansui ba-1000 schemetic please?

Interesting!
@ocerrr
I would love to have schematics for the AU-D907 Limited, AU-X11and AU-D907 G Extra
And ofcourse from this BA-1000. I would be willing to share the cost for a copy of your pdf!
Did you just sent them a mail with request?

You can send email inqiury youself to ask them, or I can send for U. I feel the cost is sure a little high. I don't know how much they ask for local person. Should I tell my japanese freind to give'm a call?

Hello. I would also like to get this repair manual. If anyone knows a solution, please let me know, if it works out, I'll cover the cost.

Végre megtaláltam a kapcsolási rajzot 10000 jenről

I'd be in to cut the costs in half. I will pay half of the price if you send it in scanned digital form by e-mail.

For those that cannot read Swedish here is a translation (thanks Google ;))

"Also looking for a service manual for the Sansui BA-1000, can anyone here advise where to find it/ thanks in advance."

Hello. I finally came to the right place? I just picked up a Sansui BA-1000 and was also looking for info on it. This is my first vfet amp. I've wanted to hear one for a while, but most vfets are in Japan and not in the best condition. I bought this one from Canada. It is super clean, has been serviced and has been professionally converted to 120v! I want to use this one in a bi amp setup with the ba 1000 on top, and a yamaha mx1000 for the woofers. I have a scope to check for distortion and meter to check for dc output and bias, but I have no numbers to go by. Any opinions on this amp would be appreciated. Thanks

An answer was already given in this thread. A german tech noted 15 mV across the 0.33R emitter resistors and ocerr noted that it is actually 52 mV. VFET amps are typically biased higher than typical class AB BJT designs so the 52 mV would make more sense to me and thus the amp running hot would be expected. First, properly locate the VFET emitter resistors. They should be large, white, cement types in groups of 2. Second, verify the value of the emitter resistors via the label and measurement. Then measure the DC voltage across each emitter resistor and post the results here. Allow the amp to warm up and monitor the stability of the measurement; and don't slip with the probes. If you are not comfortable, it's best to power the amp down when moving the probes; it will just take longer this way allowing the amp to warm up fully for each measurement. If you have any trouble, send the amp to me and I'll take care of it for you ;)

If u have distortion meter, U can test test the best bias youself. Maybe start from 15mv after about every 10-15mins increase 5mv and watch distortion? notice the heat sink temperature of course. To me 52mv sounds good enough to me. Don't forget to check voltage neutral balance .
