There is a diode on the rear trace side of board I don’t think it’s in the schematic it was there from factory a 10d1 it goes to positive end of the 100uf cap to the resistor 15k maybe I should remove it? I replaced it with a 1n5393

Yes get rid of it - it seems from your description of where it is connected that this is exactly the problem.Tr616 doesn’t seem to be on and where the issue lies?

BTW
TR616 is about as close to the issue as you can get - namely only 580mV across the 13V zener it is connected to - that's why I asked you to remove and test it in post #38.![]()
