I saw that one as well. Would like to have seen more photos, especially close ups, as the cosmetics of the BA-5K are crucial in determining the value.
I am actively looking for a second BA-5K, and would definitely prefer to get one locally, so I can see and hear it first, but also because the shipping costs are significant on such a heavy beast.

I have a large room in the basement of our home, about 26 feet by 18 feet, with an opening off that. I love to go down there, and put my music on quite loud. The BA-5K delivers the sound effortlessly. I note in your sig that you have McIntosh amps, so you know what that's all about.
When/if I get another, I'll swap out my BA-2k in the main floor room, also quite large.

Says it sold for $2000. Seems cheap to me.

I will be listing a BA 3000 and am hoping for close to 2k, that result is disappointing.
I have always wanted one of those! That would have been a great auction to jump in on!
The reason it is sold for $2000 is that it is the buy it now price.
