Hey everyone. This is my first post here so apologies if in the wrong place.
My issue is, and I have had this happen twice now, on a sansui 661 (or 771) the bias sits at 29 to 31 and doesn't move past that. If I turn the trim pot, it'll go up or down 1 mv. Same behavior both channels. The correct number is 19mv and I cannot get close to that. i am following the service manual, which i beleive to be accurate on these two units, as far as bias adjusting go. The DC offset adjustments seem to work fine.
The odd thing, it doesn't run hot. So I doubt this reading is even accurate. I've tried MA DC and ac. I have an auto sensing multimeter.
Just baffled on this. And like I said this is the second time I've had this situation where I just can't seem to set bias. Any assistance would be appreciated
