Sansui CA-2000 + Sansui BA-100

Is just that I am looking for a companion for my soon to arrive CA-606. I almost went for a BA-90 and then I noticed that it has a similar faceplate as the AU-777/555/222.
so now I am looking for a BA-100/150.

Indeed that is the case. If trying to match aesthetics, the CA-606 is matched (faceplate, knobs and case) to the 666 and 888 amp and tuner, the AU-555A, BA-100/150, QS-1, amd CD-5A active crossover.

Edit to add: the TAC-505 receiver is also an aesthetic match for this series. These are very little seen outside Japan, and have the short Japanese market FM band (76-90MHz), limiting their usefulness elsewhere. Figured I'd include it for the sake of completeness.

Other than the BA-150,
Au- 666 would be a good match in both aesthetically and performance wise, as it have the same dimension as the CA-606 and have similar board F-1159, F1231 and F1277 to the BA-150.

Peter, you are correct. The TC-505 was an earlier model resembling the 222, 555, 777 , 999 amps and corresponding tuners; and the original CD-5 active crossover (not the CD-5A).

I have to say I have really come to admire the look of the series built around the 606, 150 and related models. Tastefully understated yet modern enough to look a little less industrial like the 222, 555, 777, 999 lineup that preceded it. If the latter still looked very 1960's (not that I'm disparaging that look, it just isn't to my own taste) the follow up series was a bit cleaner and more streamlined.

I think the thing I dislike most about the look of earlier models like the 777 and 999 are the clunky black plastic toggle switch covers. The round aluminum toggle caps of the 150 and 606 lineup look much nicer to my eye.
