Sansui Eight question

What is the difference between the the Sansui Eight and the Eight Deluxe :scratch2:

They both use the same chassis and tuner section but the Eight Deluxe has a vastly improved amplifier. It is much much more modern incorporating a push pull design and a relay based protection circuit. Expect to pay a premium for the Eight Deluxe. You can generally find nice examples of the Eight for under $100. It's rare to see an Eight Deluxe that low. The Eight is one of my favorite Sansui receivers. Very very well built. Someday I'll find an Eight Deluxe in my price range.
