Sansui G-7500 Parts?

The only things that are not available are switches, cabinet parts, knobs and the transformer. Everything else is available and the transformer can be rebuilt. Don't let any tech tell you parts are not available.

If that's all it is, you're probably looking at $250 labor and maybe $50 in parts. It is possible that the unit had been subjected to a powerline surge or lightning strike. A good tech will disconnect the amp and make sure that everything else is working before proceeding with the estimate.

On top of the amp repair, all of the switches and pots will need to be cleaned, the tuning cap cleaned and probably resoldered to the board, alignment dialed in, all of the lamps should be replaced. I'm trying to remember all of the troublemaker semiconductors in that unit. Seems like there were a few, but not a huge amount. I've repaired a few of these, but it's been awhile, and I'm terrible about taking notes. These are one of the worst for torching the outputs when someone who doesn't know what he is doing twiddles the bias trimmer.
Absolutely repairable though.

I keep seeing Power board fails, as I trip around looking for info.

I'm fairly handy, and like taking care of my own stuff, but just never got into Electronics.

Any info you can remember, would be greatly appreciated.

I do want to get this poor amp some TLC, as she looks to have been rode hard and put up wet, I'm afraid!

Took pics of the insides but here is the front, and shows why I bought the Amp.

Pretty clean, and no missing parts, the four meters along the front , are pretty kickin to me, and my fantastic G-6700 does not have those.

There is some damage to the casing and may just make a new one from some farm milled Alabama Cherry Wood that I have.

I actually really like those receivers. Once they have been gone through, they sound great and are actually quite reliable. It's just not real cheap (what is these days?) to get one ship shape after nearly 50 years of deferred maintenance.
All of the threads you find regarding burned up amplifier boards are one of the reasons that I relentlessly harp the point of not messing with the trimmers in these old units.
