I just got back , picked up my first ever sansui . Its a g-7700 , sounds really good and in pretty good shape. Not bad for $50  I'll get some pics up in a few.

Just needs a good cleaning, no static or scratch on any of the controls.

Wow, $50. That's a heck of a score my friend! Well done.

I owned one of those receivers and they really do sound magnificent. An excellent performer in every regard.

Now I hear why these have such a following, much much stronger bass then the 110 watt pioneer vsx-d914 I was using in the same setup before. Dire straits pounds on the l7's with this. Thanks, nice pickup you got there to.

After a quick clean up with some goof off and windex. There were small paint drips on the glass and wood, not any more. They also had some writing in pencil on the front, they were using the phono 1 input for tv and aux for cd . Probably writing for the wife to be able to operate it, lol.

Why is there always paint spots on things when you buy them used, There is really messy painters around

Beautiful amp

Congrats on the great buy. I have one set up in my son's old bedroom for the speaker "experiment" room. It has a powerful warm sound.

Thanks everyone, this is not going anywhere anytime soon.I tried it out with my polk sda2b's and can't get enough of it. After I make some room, I want to try it out with the pioneer cs99a's. Are the watt meters accurate on these as far as real power being fed to the speakers ?
