Hello guys, first post here. I got my hands on an old Sansui TR707a receiver that has a lot of potential. I'm not a certified technician, I'm a hobbyist and I have restored/cleaned different units in the past, changed bulbs, did a bit of soldering, etc but I'm still a noob. What I would love to do with this unit is change the routing of the tuner meter light, so it lights up when the power button is engaged, and not when the input is switched to "tuner". This light adds a lot of warm and personality to the receiver, so I would like it to be more present, as I never use the tuner.
Based on your experience, is that something that could be easy to do? Is it something that I shouldn't do? Is there something I should be awarre of when performing this mod?
Did you ever made a change like that? Thank you very much!
