Letting the community know that I just had alignment, Power supply upgrade, Audio coupling cap upgrades, Audio opamp upgrades performed by Mike at Radio X Tuners. The Tuner now performs well above it's pre upgrade state. Mike also addressed a problem that popped up ~ 1 week after the upgrades occurred. Mike clearly knows what he is doing and you can be confident in the quality of work performed. Mike comes highly recommended.

So what did the upgrades involve? And what problems did they introduce? I'm intrigued.
 
Always a pleasure to work on TU-919. The modifications did not introduce any problems. There was a cold solder joint in the front-end that probably got aggravated in shipping. Caused digital readout to flake out and go all over the place.
