Sanyo TP-825D questions

Looks great :yes: I think you'll really enjoy this TT.

Can I ask what feet you purchased (is it possible to post a picture of them?)
I have a few components with missing feet; never though of going to ACO. So you went to the aisle with A/V connectors, cables, etc.?

I used 7/8" dia plastic feet and tipped them with 1/2" dia felt pads. I also bought M5x20 screws/nuts/washers to secure them.

The feet and pads were in an aisle along with furniture casters, rubber tips for furniture legs, and the like. Someone else on AK made feet out of the rubber tips but I think he called them crutch tips. They look the same as crutch tips.

There is also a section of the store that has rubber door bumpers. One design attaches to a wall at the same height as a door knob. That bumper looked like it would work as a turntable foot, too.

I have three original Sanyo feet if someone is looking for replacement parts. The rubber is still soft and uncracked. $10 ea. would make them competitive with the ACO hi-fi department.

I will post pictures of the feet tonight. Until then here is a similar foot. It's hard plastic. Luckily the TT has a pliant suspension system between the plinth and the plywood sheet with the feet.

Thanks for the reply and the info, I'll have to stop by ACO soon. The foot looks taller than it is wide (at least from the picture) but should work for my application.

This TT sounds awesome. I tried it with Earth, Wind & Fire's "All About Love". Everything came through from the delicate xylophone notes to the bass drum. My hairs stood on end. No hum, no static, no nothing else.

I realize this thread has been static for awhile but I was wondering what you used for the turntable feet? I recently purchased a Sanyo 825D on CL and one of the feet were missing but the screw is still there.

What are my options for replacement feet for the Sanyo 825D?

Thanks for the help. The old stylus slid right out. I ordered the Shure N97XE replacement.

The next thing is turntable feet. If it's not one thing it's two.

Hopefully this thing plays nice when it's done.
