Schiit Mimir vs Fiio K11 R2R

The Bifrost 3 will have the same DSP capabilities as the Gungnir and Yaggdrsail so it is Mega-Combo more is better or less is more for, as noted above $699
I will pre order as I like that is has an internal EI transformer power supply and keep space open on the plug plantation.
People who heard it and the Mimir said it “destroys” the Mimir which reportedly makes Mimir sound a bit thin over headphones but I am 2 channel based and I still expect good sound quality from it and the future upgrade path and the only thing that is not backwards compatible is the higher resolution Unison USB Card.
Hopefully it will be a final DAC buy with the ability to get future upgrades

Schiit website is still showing the old Bifrost... is the BF3 going to make an appearance soon???
 
Welcome to a new Schiit Bifrost 3 thread. lol Not sure if I'll preorder or wait til the actual release. Probably the latter assuming they won't sell out before then.
