Scott 299-D Stereomaster amplifier

Not sure about the value of the Scott, but you could always subscribe to AK and post a want to buy ad in Bartertown (BT) if you're objective is to get a good tube amp at a reasonable price. There are several members that live in your area that might have an amp or two that they would consider selling. I have picked up a couple of amps via BT and always been well pleased.

Thanks. I thought I was a subscriber and could use Bartertown, but I seem unable to access and I'm not sure how to sign up to do so. I see only Barter Town Preview, then a link to new rules for participating in Barter Town, but that link simply tells me I have to be a subscriber. How do I subscribe? (As I said before, I already thought I had.)
