I thought that for what Mode you want the Triac to run in may change the MT1 & MT2 locations within the circuit.

I did find these symbols in basic electronics. My concern was just wanting to insure that I didn't damage the Yamaha IGC part. The old story of an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! Thank you for the info.

Though the schematic labels those SS devices as SCRs, their symbols are Triacs, as that`s what they were called when I was building a multi- channel controllable stage lighting system for a South Miami rock band that employed me as a FOH sound engineer/light man in 1979~80 time frame.
SCRs(Silicon Controlled Rectifier) are one direction(like a diode), but turn on controllable via the gate connection.
Called that as part of the Thyristor AC devices family, and some AC designs asked for a Diac to be used in the gate path.
Though, later on some Tiacs devices included the Diac in their gates internal device`s design..
Peavey electronics, and other amplifier builders used those devices in their higher wattage power amps to monitor the amplifiers output for excessive DC on the output to the speakers to conduct/short to ground, thus blowing the mains fuse, hopefully preventing the failure of the amplifier`s output stage from destroying the speakers connected to the amplifier.
All this noise from me, is based on 40+ yrs. ago memory, so correct, & update as you see fit.
