I have a pair of these that I traded for some bass lessons about 15 years ago. I refoamed them and they sound pretty good, but after looking around, they seem to be different from the standard 8Ws in that the back panel and crossover arrangement are different.

Any idea how these would pair with Met 7s?

Good question.
I suppose you'll have to experiment to find what's correct.
The 8w's back panel indication input/output, Met7's out with the top terminals.
