glad to be here. I'm very new to this whole 'hifi' business, and i'm looking to learn from you all.
My current question pertains to getting advice on connecting a Sansui AU-607 to the rest of my entertainment devices, and I hope this might be the right place to ask.
AV receiver - Onkyo NR717, with AppleTV, Set-top box, and TV connected to it.
I've currently 2 pairs of speakers (Pioneer SP-FS52 and Tannoy 607 mk2), with the Pioneers doing HT duties and the Tannoys connected to the Sansui.
The intention would be for me to pipe Spotify through the Onkyo, and then onto to the Sansui. A Rega Planar turntable will also be connected directly to the Sansui.
Would there be a way for me to use the Onkyo as a pre-amp for the Tannoys for hifi, while the Pioneer continue it's HT duties?
I've read through the AU-517 (international version of the 607), and I'm a bit leery of randomly making connections and hoping for the best..
