Not to be rude or anything but if it is worth 2-3 times as much and you plan on flipping it, why would you send an offer? :scratch2: I mean I would just buy it and flip it. I never haggle down something that I know I can get the money back for. Just my 2 cents :yes:

Rob is the kinda guy and a very competent tech who would refurbish it so it would actually be worth 2-3 times as much. And he probably won't sell it for that much.

Oh, hints why I didn't just buy it, if I pay in the 100's it is either going in my collection or the profit needs to be in the 1000's. After away you'll realize somethings just don't net enough profit to make the shipping worth it.
It's like Onepixel said. I don't buy gear and sell it the way I got it.
I enjoy working on the gear, so if I got it for $150, recapped the power supply, driver boards and tone board, cleaned all of the controls (properly),
pull the outputs and re-grease them, set DC and bias, and cleaned the relay,.................I would offer it to my buddy that likes Marantz for what I had into it. I would guess $200.
If he didn't want it, I would start with Craigslist. If I didn't sell it there, I would go to E-bay.
I have shipped bigger receivers (Marantz 4300 to name one) and am very capable of doing so.
To directly answer your question. I don't want it, but spending some quality time in my shop, working on a classic receiver, is tempting. And if I make a buck or two, great.
I am not in the hobby to get rich, I have a job for that.
I enjoy working on gear, even if I break even.
