Good evening everyone,
First of all, on the eve of Thanksgiving, I'd like to give thanks to all of those who keep this awesome site going. I've learned so much since I joined.
With that said, I recently acquired a Sherwood S-8900 receiver (NOT the 'A' model). I noticed that when I first plug in the unit, there is a little bit of "pulsating" or "warbling" sound coming out of the speakers -- I guess it may be what you call humming. It usually goes away if I turn back off and on again. I was wondering if anyone has compiled a list of the transistors and capacitors that should be replaced on all the various boards.
Happy Thanksgiving!
TIA....Joe
