Sherwood S-9910 Restoration - Progress/Help

Very nice stack!!

You may find this post helpful: https://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/sherwood-s-9910-nudie-pics.404229/post-5295059
from earlier in this thread (page 2).

You know that the S-9910 and S-110CP are the same unit, right?

On your S-110CP, check your 'Tone" and 'Monitor' switches for oxidized contacts. Silver is great for contacts, just not so much after 40+ years, without attention. Break out the DeOxit !

Yeah aware of the cp110 thanks for the info and like ..I like my 9910 better than the Sansui 9090 you can see nudes and clean up on the flickr.com site I posted

In my early 50s and finally have some time to get back into the audio stuff I love. I have been stock piling old gear for 20 some years, mostly middle of the road quality from yard sales and thrift. Set up a work area and slowly going through things. The S-8500 shouldn't take much so I'll get to it soon. I'll post a picture of the it here tomorrow. All the best on recovering, "normal" is great !

A little pressed for time but I'll be sure to have plenty of nudies when she gets to the bench. Pretty pathetic looking after 25 years of garage duty. Has a detailed template, small catalog, brochure and service manual. I'll have to scan and post the literature in the appropriate place here soon.
