Very nice. Are you in Europe? The TA-N86B is one of my favorite amps. Your N900 is next.
Thank you, I am from the US. I look forward to comparing these and the N86B side-by-sideVery nice. Are you in Europe? The TA-N86B is one of my favorite amps. Your N900 is next.

Recorded a tape yesterday. Easy peasy. I heard complaints about the tape-to-tape switch but it doesn’t seem like a problem to me. Maybe just an unusual arrangement of these controls.Perfect working Sony STC-7000 Tuner/Preamplifier. Using it with a TA-3200F Amplifier. Cleaned inside and out including the controls, replaced a few transistors, replaced lights, and it now looks and sounds fantastic! Testing and enjoying most key functions today. Did not try recording any tapes though.
These look like new inside, amazing! Some pictures of my Esprit TA-N900 mono amplifiers

I really lucked out with them, especially given that they are US market versions. They look to have had very little use judging by the lack of discoloration on the circuit boards and dust in the chassis. I bought a third one a few months back to use for parts should I need any - the chassis was mangled before it shipped to me and even more so after USPS got their hands on it, so I won’t feel terrible if I need anything from it.These look like new inside, amazing!
I have 5 but all of them need some level of service before I dare to use them again.
Still pretty too look at though!
Curious to hear your findings as well!
Just finished new belts, lamps and matching paint top/side panels on the TC-K65 to go with the V4View attachment 3599945View attachment 3599946Just finished doing some cherry sides, new paint on top, bias, changed a couple resistors to get dc offset near 0 and did LED lamps with some color filters to try and match the meter colors. She's a beauty STR-V4.

There were three modifications of the Sony SS-G7 in total. In addition to the original version, which was produced from 1976, there was also a modernized Sony SS-G7a, which featured changes to the low-frequency section and the addition of a second phase plug hole. When Sony made their Sony TA-D88 and Sony TA-D900 crossovers, they decided to add a module for connecting them to the Sony SS-G7. This is how the S version appeared, but it is very, very rare. The Sony SS-G7s look nice and I would love to find a pair like that. Why does the crossover panel look loose and like it doesn’t fit in the back? Is that original to this pair? I’ve seen pictures of SS-G7s with only two speaker terminals, not for external crossover units. It appears Sony offered at least 2 versions of the SS-G7s.
