Hard times are hitting everyone it seems. Shure has this cart as low as $49 at Amazon and $54 at B & H Photo!

Get them while you can! No word on if they still come in the tricked out aluminum box still. I'll let you know soon though!

just got it yesterday and installed on a Technics SL 1300 running with Yamaha CR1020 and Polk 7b's
It sounds so much better than what I had, which was probably the original cartridge.
So I'm a happy boy. :music:

Yeah, it's tough spending cash but if anyone deserves to be splurged on it's me. :D
My son came over for a listen last night, his one word description was "amazing". He has much better ears than me. No doubt the best $50 I spent making improvements. The records are even quieter scratch and pop-wise. The bass hits harder, cymbals and acoustic guitar crisper and all that other hipster lingo saying I'm really digging it....may have to try it out on the main rig. :smoke:
 
Doesnt that chase thing apply to like your next purchase? I always heard it was a scam basically.
 
I looked on mazon. IT stated in one place "with diamond tip stylus" and another that it does not come with the stylus.
So does it come with a stylus??

Just need to know if I need to order on of those too.
 
Quagh, you clown! Opening the drain at the bottom of my bank account a little wider! Thanks alot! :D Just kidding. Thanks for the heads up. I happen to need a new cart, maybe two! I'll look into this. I need to check if it's low mass or not. (I have a Pioneer PL 510A that can't take a low mass cart).
 
J&R Music world has had it for $55 for almost a year now. It comes in the aluminum box and comes with the stylus.
 
Yep. It comes with the stylus. I have two of these and it's my favorite all around cartridge. Definitely the best for the money IMHO. I'm sure that you guys will be pleased with it.
 
Now tht is a steal. The replacement stylus csot nearly that much by itself.
Time to order me a couple of these.

Edit- I'll get mine in the next 5-8 days
 
Just found out that my PL510A can take a low mass cart! It's a matter of adjustment. In fact, this cart would go well with the PL510. I have a technics table as well that this cart could prove to have synerginic qualities with as well.
I'll be ordering tonight.:yes:

Nowhere is the stylus included, it seems. Am I reading right ?
