Shure V15 Type III question???

Guys IIRC I think think the one made for a Duals with the integral headshell is the V15DU.

That is correct, but the LM version is also for Dual turntables. It seems as though someone hacked it up to fit the op's turntable. Hard to know for sure without some better photo's...

The thing to remember is that, no matter which turntable headshell any V15 Type III was specifically adapted to (there was a special BIC version too) or which suffix it has (DU, LM, BI), it is still basically a V15 Type III and they all can use the same styli.

The suffix makes no difference in that respect.

Yes - that would be my experience also - as limited as it is!!

I already have this exact cart on my HK T60c and it fit not only the head shell but also the arm/table perfectly too - a lovely combo as stated.

I purchased this initial V15III LM not knowing which stylus it had though. And before I purchased another one, just wanted to find out what stylus it actually had - if possible.

That's why the initial query. But it seems the answers to some of these questions are not exactly straight forward. I suppose that's the case with all kinds of vintage gear.

Love the learning experience though - thanks all for the input!
