Siemans E80CC, good, bad?

For those who run E80CC's in place of 12au7's, how to the Siemans fair sound wise? Made by Philips/Amperex I think.

I use the E80CC tubes in my ST70 with the DIYTUBE board in place of the 12AU7 tubes. I have also tried 12BH7 tubes. The best sounding to my ears are the Tungsram E80CC. The Amperex tubes sound a bit dark to me. I have tried the straight side as well as the pinched glass versions. Another tube that may be used is the ECC99 from JJ, there are lots of options out there.
