I am watching it now and Watson is wiping the floor with them. Unfortunately from what I have see this show is becoming a big infomercial for IBM. I hope Alex is getting a commission on any future sales.......

[Rodzilla]

i watched an entire show about watson just the other night...its really quite intriguing,it's basically loaded with all manner of info,it has all the answers...the real thing they're working on is how it finds them, how it interprets the question and knows which answer is the right one...it was really odd how basic the problems were, what silly things tripped it up,really basic stuff we take for granted that it just doesn't "get"...amazing bit of technology, baby steps on the way to real AI but real steps nonetheless!

So true.......
Tonight's Final Jeapordy category was U.S. Cities.
The correct answer was Chicago.
Watson gave Toronto as its answer....... :sigh:
