SL-1300 vs SL-1600

I've been running an SL-1600 for a while and just picked up an SL-1300. They seem pretty alike feature wise. Is there any significant difference between the two?

Other than the 1300 being older, and a different series of tables, they should be more similar than different. The 1300 is a workhorse for sure. But I don't think you gain much going from a 1600 to a 1300. Now, a 1301, which I had for a few years, is a step up with Quartz lock.

Yes, I looked at specs and the 1300 has lower rumble, the 1600 has .005% lower wow and flutter. Since the 1300 is in better shape cosmetically I'll use it.

Agreed. Waiting on another 1301 to hit the doorstep right now in fact. I also have a 1500 and 1600, one of which will be modded for 78's (you gotta have the pitch controls for those because the speed on 78's is all over the place).

Still like my JVC QL-Y55f better though!
