I snagged a pair of Tannoy Chevoit speakers and hope to have them rebuilt and at Kens that day.

I will be there. Not sure about the wife as that is far to go. If people want to tag a ride - let me know as Ken does not have much room for parking at his place.

Hmm, maybe we could meet at a park 'n ride. I'll check and see what my schedule is looking like that Saturday as I already dismissed it due to how far away it was for me. If it's ok with you. Beer and gas money provided :)

Thanks for a great Ken and Mrs. Ken! The food was awesome, music was great and the company was, as always, a treat. Thanks so much for a great afternoon!

Wow, herculeon effort on the food,It was like home for the holidays.Huge thanks to Ken & his lovely bride for todays meet, It gets no better than this..

Yes and yes. I don't know if I'm more stunned by MSU's win or the food spread at Ken's. Thanks ever so much for a wonderful listening session Ken! Enjoyed the company and saw some faces I haven't seen in a good while. The 300b preamp sounded great. Did you decide on which set you'll refinance the new car for?;-)

Way to go Ken! Outstanding meet! Thanksgiving in October. The meal was fantastic and very, very much appreciated. Many thanks to your wife for her efforts. That was an amazing demo your put on concerning the effect of a defective preamp tube; imaginative and instructive!

Thanks to everyone for such a happening meet Carol enjoyed serving up a meal all to partake in. The Sofiea Royal princess tube made an impressive difference.

We Finnish the session with the Sofiea tubes put in the Treasure hifi's and no sound from one of them switched sides same result, truly a bummer but we put my treasures back in and the day went forward to the evening like 10pm so all is back to normal with the kit. Ian sure was dissapointed with the malfunction however the RP's still the best tube set we heard.

I'm not quite following. Can you list the tubes in order as to how you liked them. Personally, those Sophia Royal Princesses were an order of magnitude better than the Shuggies, I didn't hear any others though and would be interested in how you found each pair.

That was the end of tube swapping the Shuggies that malfunction ended the comparison effert so yes only two sets were swapped out, clearly a somewhat risky indever doing tube swapping with 300B's
