Jessica Molaskey is a fine singer of popular music and standards. She is married to John Pizzarelli who often plays guitar on her albums and usually does one duet as well.

I haven't seen Jessica Williams but she is on my list.

In case y'all don't know Kevin is a friend I met on another forum and is very knowledgeable about Jazz. Tons of records and wonderful experiences with live music.

Hey Kevin, I recently had the pleasure of seeing DeJohnette, Corea and Clark here in Eugene. It was the first time the three of them had played together...good stuff!
 
Got home from a business trip last evening with a few vinyl souveniers I found at a local record store. So I listened to all of them with my wife and our friend Sam Adams (summer special):

-Charles Mingus, Oh Yeah 180 gram audiophile
-Miles Davis, Kind of Blue 180 gram audiophile
-Ahmad Jamal, at the top
-Weather Report, Heavy Weather
-Thelonius Monk Quartet, misterioso

I have most of these on CD, but they are really special on vinyl.

It's funny how I found them. My wife drug me kicking and screaming (maybe that was my 3 year old, he learns fast) into a local mall, so I took the baby to the little mall playgrond while she went shopping. She came back an hour later and matter of factly told me there was a record store on the upper level. I just looked at her and said, "your turn" and headed right up there. New and used vinyl at a mall record store, who would have thunk it?!!
Why don't they have these here in Hooterville where I live?

I got out a couple of LP's that have been boxed up for the last 8 years, since I moved into this place and gave them a spin. This is one I'd forgotten about but when I found it I remembered how much I liked it.
