WELCOME TO ONLY AMAZING DEALS!!!

Its amazing alright.

Not a complete loss, we get a laught and ebay makes more money for nothing.

" TWO UPDATES (22 April 2010): First, this item is now located at a friends home in GROTON, CT. Secondly, we have had many offers for certain "pieces and/or parts" from this item. We will continue to run this auction (for at least another two weeks) and THEN we may break it down and sell it as parts and pieces. If you are interested in any particular piece, just let us know and make us an offer and we will get back to you as soon as possible! If you are the least bit interested in this item, we have a "best offer" option available, offer anything, you may be surprised! "

Wow, I guess I sold my Scott "pieces and/or parts" way too low . . .jeez. John

Maybe the guy wants people to make offers so he can screen prospective buyers before doing business with them. He may have the price that high just so people will HAVE to make offers so he can pre-screen. IMO that's the safest way to sell things on ebay these days. Although admittedly putting the price SO high is kind of ridiculous.

There were 2 different Scotts.

The one for sale at Ebay is from Scott Radio out of Chicago, and then there was HH Scott, who were based in Maynard, Massachusetts for many years.

Most folks here are familiar with HH Scott, and not Scott Radio.

The Scott Radio stuff is coveted by many collectors, if you do a search, some of the audio items these folks made is quite amazing.

Are the pieces in the auction listed this valuable? Perhaps to someone.

Best,

Paul
