Sons Of Anarchy

While I'm in the Movies & TV forums, anyone here familiar with this serial? Recommend it (or not)? I'm thinking about grabbing a few episodes for a test drive.

I enjoy watching SOA. Pretty entertaining show. The third season starts in September I think. I would recommend it.

Ron Pearlman is awesome. Its a pretty good series. Mob on motorcycles.

Katey Sagal (Peg Bundy) is a good character, very tough.

I'd have to say its worth a gander.

After watching the pilot & three additional episodes, I'll say that I'm enjoying the serial. The language & mannerisms are a bit off, but then let's remember that the folks who are writing these dramas are very unlikely to have spent, um, quality time, in teh real world with real "outlaw" bikers. It's just not s.t. outsideers have much opportunity to experience unless they have family members who are patched. Obviously, they have somone from the life who is providing technical advice/direction as many of the creature trappings are pretty accurate. I'll definitely stick with season one & already have season two locked, loaded and waiting in the on deck circle. Thanks again for the recommendation, fellas.

My wife and I just watched the first season on DVD. It is occasionally violent, but the characters and conflicts are fantastic.

Literary structure of series is kinda based on Hamlet.

Best show out there at the moment, IMO.

Netflix will have season 2 on August 31st.

An excellent analogy. SoA even had Drea de Matteo on hand for the first season.
