Cool, I'll have to assemble a separate system around these with my 275 and MCD201. :thmbsp:

Thinking the same thing: The Minima Vintage would go great in my office with my MA2275. Small room, neerfield lisiting, should be quite sweet. Wonder what the price will be...

I checked it out and asked them a question about little bottle of white emulsion included with my Elipsas. It looks in the bottle at least, like Armor-All, and included a small sponge. The instructions said to use the sponge to apply to the drivers. I was mystified.
In 40 years of fiddling with speakers, I have never heard of putting gunk on them. Although in retrospect, keeping surrounds flexible and avoiding their drying out might have been worthwhile.
The instructions don't say how often to put this stuff on, how or where. Nor do they talk about which drivers...I cannot imagine weighting a tweeter diaphragm with anything that might attract/hold dust.
Does anyone know about this stuff? Is it supplied with other Sonus faber speakers?
To jdubbs comment, an update to the Mc site is long overdue. It is stiff, designed for dial up and counterintuitive. Mc should have Mac do their new site...wouldn't that be killer?

I got a bottle with my Cremona A's but I am pretty sure it is to be applied to the leather not the drivers. I have not used it yet.

I asked Sumiko about the white emulsion and they noted it is for the rubber suspensions of the woofers. If you apply it to the actual paper cone I think you will destroy your speakers. Personally I would never use this stuff. I’ve had my Auditors for years and have had no issues. Not sure why they even include this

I drank mine, started speaking fluent Italian. Your results may vary.
Having noticed your favorable outcome with the mystery liquid, I wanted to see if it will turn any car into a Ferrari... :scratch2: Being of cautious nature, I poured some into my "neighbor's" car gas tank. So far the Honda did not turn into a Ferrari but I did see it leaving on a flatbed this morning after a failed attempt to start it by my neighbor. :headscrat

Hey, I used to own a Fiat. First time I've ever been passed on the freeway by one of my own wheels! Came off axle and all and zipped right by me!

My first memories of cars are of the Lada (ex Zhiguli) which was established in 1960's in collaboration with Fiat in Russia. What a "p.o.s." it was. :D
