The 550ES is a decent tuner - it is the cheaper alternative to the TOTL S730ES. In general I would say the price is on the high side but it may be worth it since he says it is like new in box, and has the rosewood sides. As you probably know the tuner market is very soft given the crap state of commercial radio and the rise of internet streaming.

The 550ES has actually been slowly creeping up for price on eBay... $100 for one with wood sides & the orig. box would be snapped up quickly.
