Sony PS-4300 (any good?)

Quality TT. The arm appears near identical to my 3750, decent but probably not the pinnacle of are designs, middle of the road mass. I've never been able to get the bearings adjusted for both low friction and minimum slop. Still a nice table if you can pick one up for a good price. Like most of the Sony dd tables, it uses a magnetic strip on the ID or OD of the platter to control speed. If anything happens to that strip, the tt is a doorstop. Normally the system works very well and the discrete circuit board is repairable if anything else goes wrong.

If the table has a gel pocket designed mat check that it is still compliant and not hardened up.

Performance would most likely be equivalent, not much of a step up rather than side ways. Both are nice tables.

The Lab-400 is a nice CEC-built table. The Sony would probably be something of an angled step. Not directly up the ladder, but not directly equivalent, either.
