Watch out cleaning face. Lettering comes off easy at least on the 60xx series. I have the earlier 6045 and like it a lot. Yours looks more like my old 6050's layout. Does your stereo light work?

It is all discrete with the exception of some of the FM section. The preamp/power amp sections are all discrete, IIRC. That's the last generation of Sony gear to do so. Later generations started reducing component count (and, therefore, cost) with IC-based circuits. Many of the late 70s generations had rather proprietary chips at that, which makes them a bit more difficult to repair without donor units.
