Recently purchased a Sony TA-1150 which I am hoping turns out to be a rocking deal after repairs. I am linking to three videos below showing the problems I am having. I have yet to get in and start cleaning this thing, but my suspicion is it will need a good deal of work beyond that. I am really just asking generally where to START. I am not in a hurry to get this thing running, so am open to doing whatever to make it shine again.
Cycling through inputs using preamp run into Fosi BT30D and out to speakers:
Amp to main speakers:
Amp to remote speakers:
Long story short - most inputs sound okay using preamp to separate power amp. When I run the amp out to the speakers, whatever input still comes through, but there is something over the signal even when the volume is at zero.
