Growing up in Pickens County I was a Clemson fan. Dad and brothers went there and one taught there. But I'm the garnet and black sheep of the family who went to USC.

Pickens High, Daniel, or Easley? Born and raised in Pickens as well. USC alum '83. Never a clemson fan though. I even throw away the orange lifesavers.

EHS but most of my relatives live in Pickens. Cousin Larry owned the BBQ restaurant on Ann St. and "The Barn" on the Pickens Liberty Highway. Cousin Katie was the volleyball coach at PHS. Her dad had the carpet shop on Main Street. Another cousin, Perry G. is now a judge.
