Thanks for the heads up.
I had a bad experience with Monster speaker wire, it corroded up into the jacket on the ends. This was years ago. Maybe the copper oxidation added to the presentation but I doubt it.

I have a bunch of different Monster speaker cable (all of it thrown in for free, or bought used at pennies on the dollar) and I've never had any of it corrode. I do have some noname cable that sort of looks like Monster, and it turned green inside the insulation throughout its entire length, but the name brand stuff has stayed good.

The only thing I don't like about Monster's speaker wire, and I have some that's been in use for 20 years, is that plastic core inside the wire.

I haven't seen any corrosion on any of mine.

Monster had (maybe still has) a lifetime warranty.
There was a thread on AK a couple years back about how to contact Monster and get the green corroded wire replaced for free.
