Hello all. These speakers are listed locally. They look solidly built and appear to be mirrored. Anyone have any ideas as to what they are?

Interesting, plywood cabinets. On the older side, I would guess. it looks like the grills are easy to remove. If you don't want the make the drive - ask the seller to take a picture with the grills removed. Quality drivers from yesteryear are sometimes easy to ID. Now, if the price is low to modest it might be best to pick them up. Lots of questions might drive up the price.

Older speakers will likely need attention (deteriorated surrounds, capacitors). So, recogize these as a project.

Flathead screws can be good indicator of age, shape changed over the decades.

Those may also be old enough to have accordion surrounds. Might just need a cap or two.

Unfortunately they sold. I probably didn’t need that project. They did look interesting. The seller said they were being used as end tables. Price was ridiculously low, but was about as far away from me as possible and still be in San Antonio.
