A no brainer. I've never heard a pair, but I would think they should sound decent. Depending on whether they are original or Series 2 and if they are real wood veneer, they retailed from $658 to $800 a pair from 1985 to 1987.

Thanks very much for the help. I'm tryin' to get them, just waiting for an email reply. Unlike many here, I've only got 4 or 5 pairs of speakers, and could really use another pair. Thanks again!

Well, I'm no expert on speakers and don't know what yours are. But by looking at the pic, if they sound as good as they look, I wouldn't be searching for more either!
But I did something REALLY STUPID, and sold my best speakers. A pair of Paradigm Reference Studio 100 v2, and a Paradigm Reference Servo-15 subwoofer. Just to buy a new TV and pay some small bills. DUMB!!!
The seller of the Genesis 44s got back to me via email at about 10 last night (old fart, I was napping). Just woke up and saw the message. The speaks are still available, and (supposedly) work perfectly, BUT ARE JUST TOO BIG (I love it). Sounds like I can pick them up today. Just waiting to hear what time is good for them.
Hope they'll both fit in my little Ford Taurus, LOL!:thmbsp:
