Speaker identification

Thank you. Looks like the TDL Studio Monitors had this configuration. It appears the tweeters have been replaced ... can't tell what they are though.

I was thinking the same; they appear to be Studio 1. But the tweeters on these appear to be flush mounted, so if they were replacements, someone did a very good job of making them look stock.

Thanks for the info.

Got them home, and wired up to the Yamaha RX-A2060. Set up to be bi-wired, but included some heavy jumpers. Just using the jumpers for now, with a single cable.

So far at reasonable volumes, they sound incredible. The bass is somehow fast, and deep at the same time. Tweeters fairly detailed, and don't seem to be fatiguing at all.

I need to play around with positioning a little before I can comment fully on the soundstage, but it also seems to be surprisingly good for this type of speaker. Impressed.

Zero badging anywhere.

Hi - I've recently been given this set of speakers and would like to try and identify them. Someone suggested this site... I don't suppose anyone here has any thoughts or advice on what these are? They sound really great! So probably going to keep them but interested to know what they are...Thanks in advance.

Don't recognize them. The woofers resemble Kefs but I don't think they are. Looks like good quality components.

You'd probably have better luck with responses if you post a new thread in this forum rather than responding to an existing one. We love puzzles like this, but as a response to an existing thread, only a small percentage of users will see it.

These appear to be home brew.
Welcome to AK!!

Looks like an old English speaker to me, like Monitor Audio. Or maybe a kit cabinet.
Woofers might be Dalesford or Elac, mids seem to be Peerless (need better surround repair) and tweeter from Seas.

I was thinking that those woofers look a bit like the woofers in my IMF CM3'S
