please help me to identify these altec´s. looks stock?, these are better than a klipsch lascala? any toughs?

Those might be Altec Magnificents---an inverted A7-500 with the treble horn placed in an enlarged port and with a furniture type cabinet.

If so IMO they're better than LaScalas----smoother and more natural tonal balance with better vocal reproduction and not screechy like LaScalas tend to be. Better imaging too. Speakers are about equal in terms of dynamics and clarity; both excel at those things. IMO few speakers would be better than a Magnificent.

Of course LaScala lovers would probably disagree.

Those are definitely Altec Magnificents. They are pretty rare! I have a pair myself. They are missing the lattice grills probably because they were damaged which is often the case.
 
It doesn't get any better than that. Others of course will disagree. LaScalas, Altecs, different speakers, different sound. Both in my book are worthy of ownership. Thats why I do.
