Speaker logo I.D

Greetings all,I just came from a garage sale.There was an old GE console, I looked inside.The speakers had an oakleaf / lightning bolt insignia on the magnets. Can someone I.D them for me ? :scratch2:

Yeah....I've seen that logo before.
From a Canadian manufacturer, but sorry, I just cannot remember which one?

Oaktron. They sometimes painted their frames a metallic blue and used blue cones.

Hey Celt...You seem pretty knowledgeable. This thing had a solid state radio and somethig called porta something or other.When I looked in the back there was a small box with a typical ''tube cage'' over it. I saw 4 tubes inside but didn't want to totally dismantle the thing unless I was gonna but it. Any idea what I was lookin' at. :scratch2: sorry if I am out of forum format.

A "Porta-Fi". The stereo has a transmitter set to a non-standard broadcast frequency and GE sold two optional "Porta-Fi" receivers. Both were in walnut boxes, one was a two way with an 8" woofer and a 3.5" sealed back tweeter and the other with a (as I recall) single 5 x 7" speaker. The transmitters broadcast thru the house wiring and the receivers would pick up anywhere on the house circuit.
