Audioquest makes great cables, IMO. If I had the income, I would not hesitate to get those.
Since I don't have that kind of scratch, I will note that Audioquest G-2 bulk 16 AWG speaker cable can be had for $38.75 for 30 feet. I use it on my vintage rig and find it surprisingly true and clear with a noticeable lack of smear. Stupendous value.

for a sansui quad system - my run was only 10' and 12' for front/rear left and the same for the front/rear right (i use front and rear channels in front of me...so im looking at 4 speakers....unless im in another room ...where i employed Speakers A&B....then im looking at 8 speakers. yeah....i know.)
anyways - TELEPHONE WIRE - tiny color coded and insulated solid strands of wire - could not tell the difference....and it was so much less of a wire mess - and i could get that wire in my receiver and in my speakers easily.
anyone ever try and twist monster braided wire enough to cram into a speaker port? poked my fingers and made them bleed.

I have both Auvio 12AWG and Vintage Monster (1979) 12AWG.
The Auvio is substantially better quality over the Monster Brand. The copper is nicer, its an OFC, as opposed to "Pure Copper". The sheathing on the Auvio brand will not turn yellow, or oxidize as the Monster cables will.
The Auvio 12awg is really 10awg, if you measure it, you will find that the actual copper is 3.33-4mm thick compared 2.5mm that standard 12Awg is.
I wont get into to the SQ of either wire as that seems to cause a lot of folks to loose there minds yet lack actual experience with either wire.
The Auvio has a tighter wind of the strands of wire, more copper and better quality materials.
I can post pictures of each if needed. I collect the Auvio wire, stuff is hard to find in 12Awg.

Used to always use Radio Shack copper cables in clear jackets and thought everything sounded great. Didn't believe in the cable hype. Still like them BUT...
Then I found a perfect used pair of 1980 Sansui PS-107C ' High Efficiency ' cables, black jacketed, 21' long each, from a fellow in Ireland. In the ad he said they sounded "WONDEROUS". Must admit, they do to me too. To me it plays what's on the LP for CD perfectly. Never looked back.
In fact, found and bought a second NOS pair, in box, for a backup pair on eBay USA. Vintage cables for vintage rigs.
All I know is the difference in 'sound quality' that I immediately heard. My cable search is over.
