Spec System Finally completed. (Pics)

It has taken 3 years, but I finally have the Spec system completed. Please don't tell me there are any other units missing. I need to construct my interconnects, and I'll really be done. I had very good fortune putting it all together especially since I did all for $850. That included switches for the EQ /RG-2, repair on the Spec 4, Polk Monitor 10s, and a new Shure M97Xe for the $10 PL-600. :music:

During this process I received help from so many on AK, and I want to Thank all of you again...You know who you are.

I am actually a professional disc golf player. I went to 7 World championships in a row starting in 1987. The orange picture is a poster from my first WC in Toronto Can. The room is dedicated to "things that fly" and has many unusual items. Just to the left of the original Trac Ball is a unopened box of Lawn Darts. They have been illegal in this country for many years. Civil war bullets, ultimate lids, wedding garters, boomerangs, you name it...it is hanging in the living room. My girlfriend loves it.... :no:

OK, seriously. Well done. I finally gathered all the parts of a SPEC system that I actually want. I'd love to have the rack but damn, they are spendy.

Seriously, even the less than 100% HPM-150s I just acquired with my recent complete Spec system have put the Polk RTA-12Bs on notice they may soon be on waivers. :D

Of course it`s all relative to the space you need to fill. Other than that, a great system and nice that you have the TX-9800 tuner. I only have the TX-8500 ll, but doubt I`d notice a difference in our limited FM area.
 
Dude finally a fellow akr and discgolfer! i as well am into discgolf, have a collection of well over 300 discs myself, i am not anywhere near pro but i play atleast two times a week, and helped to get the coarse in my hometown of Dover Ohio put in, which is rated as one of the best in our state.

oh and nice system you have there.
 
Beautiful work! I also encourage you to go for the HPM-150's.:yes: They're the real deal. If you can find a perfect pair for $4-$500..... you'de be doing great!

Thanks Jim. You'll notice I take real good care of them. I have not actually played around with it yet. I let my friend that replaced the RG-2 switches play around with it while I sat back and listened. Note the smiley faces he put on the EQ. :D
