Again - it's been addressed erroneously elsewhere, and it's not necessarily harmless, as I explained. Plenty of people in the audio community are willing to take us to task for suggesting that diode switching noise does no harm, as I myself found out recently in another discussion elsewhere. Anyway, that was the reason I entered this conversation. The technique of adding protection diodes is becoming better known and gaining popularity, but connecting the anodes together is not common. Honestly, the only point you've made is that you're relying on what someone told you. You haven't responded at all to the specifics posted here regarding average current or dissipation of the tube. Unless you're able to do that, you're not making a point, only voicing a personal opinion with no technical substance.
