Static Noise Left Speaker with Pioneer SX 838

I have a Pioneer SX-838. Since few weeks a noise appeared on the left speaker. The noise is still here when I change the speaker, or when I turn the volume knob or even the balance. Whatever the channel (Phono, FM or AUX) It's the same noise with the same volume. It's like a blown crackle.

I think it could be a transistor becoming too old. But I don't know a lot about electronic. I have a multimeter and I have already open my amp to change the display lamps.

Can I know with this multimeter which components I have to change ? If yes how I have to proceed ?

Hello there and welcome, i would suggest that you start to read up on your particular unit, there are known troublesome transistors in most Pioneers of this vintage. Look for similar postings and rebuild/recap threads
To change anything on the amp you will need a dim bulb tester,DMM, a soldering iron and a few other hand tools at a minimum.
Service manuals can be found at hifiengine for free, just sign up.
Could be a power supply issue or could be some transistors getting noisy or even failing caps, or even the switches, i am no expert
If there are any 2SA725 transistors, 2SC1313 and 2SC1451 in your unit i think the general consensus is that they go immediately as they a re prone to trouble.

Hope this is enough to get you started. Cleaning the switches is a good idea, rule out the simple things first.
