Storing Headshells

Another way I use is a coffee pod tray or drawer similar to this one. It has 2 dividers and each of the 3 sections are just about perfect for storing headshells on their backs with cartridges.

This one has a plastic cover but it fogged in the sun.

I have a fancy wood cigar box I keep headshells and phono accessories in. And one of the Shure V-15 Type II presentation cases (which accepts two headshells on their backs_

I've been looking at those for a while. Do you have a bit more on your impression of the quality? I'm using an Audio Technica, the one pictured upthread, but also wanted to have a holder with a single cover for multiple cartridges. I held off on this one so far because some people complained about the fit of the headshell stub into the holes.

Meh. I am satisfied with quality. Looks ok, functional.
Plastic fit & finish is good. Headshells are securely stored; you must orientate 1x way to insert & remove.

Pretty tight tolerances all around. Lid is tight. Headshells are close together; you might get a lift arm to touch another depending on style.
$21 delivered from epay. A good low-cost high-volume storage option. I got it for price & # of shells it can store; I am satisfied.
 
I inherited some Korean cabinets with 4 narrow shelves in two rows of 4. One shelf has my TT calibration stuff. One could be for head shells, another has cable adapters. One has stand my LP cleaning accessories, and one has miniature hand tools. One has levels straight and circular and one has oils, and cleaners of all types, that In use. One has Christmas candles and the last has xmas tree miniature light bulbs..
