I was gonna say that I've seen pictures in magazines of people who interior decorate their entire houses to that style(minus the coloured lights).

Definitely not to my taste.

Having said that,in questions of 'taste',it really is in the eye of the beholder.There will be someone out there who will think it is classy(yes).

I could possibly comprehend ONE DIYer making himself a cabinet in this style, if that was his taste. But this almost suggests a company went through the whole design - prototype - production-run process and made & distributed thousands of these. Or is it a once off?

It's so tacky and kitschy, it's almost cool... you want to look at it, even as you want to avert your eyes, a bit like looking at some particularly bizarre roadkill.

That room actually wouldn't look so bad, if it had a more subdued floor, perhaps mahogany wood... As it is, it looks more like a movie drug baron's room.
